ProSet C is a ready to use aqueous solution of calcium chloride and other proprietary accelerators which provides the benefits of improved finishability, set acceleration and high early strength gain. ProSet C enhances the performance of plastic and hardened concrete. ProSet C is manufactured under rigid quality control measures to provide uniform, reliable results.

ProSet C is recommended for concrete mixes where improved finishability, accelerated set and high early strengths are desirable.

ProSet C is recommended for use at a dosage rate of 12 to 64 fluid ounces per 100 pounds (782 to 4170 ml per 100 kg) of cement. ProSet C offers broad flexibility and dosage rates are dependent on cement quantity and chemistry, concrete temperature and curing conditions.

ProSet C is compatible with all types of Portland cement, class C and F fly ash, slag, microsilica, fibers and approved water reducing and air entraining admixtures. For best results, each chemical admixture must be dispensed separately into the concrete mix.

ProSet C may freeze at temperatures below 5 F (2 C). Although freezing does not harm ProSet C , precautions should be taken to protect it from freezing. If it should happen to freeze, thaw and reconstitute with mechanical agitation.
