Plastimix SFP 40 WATER-REDUCING ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE DESCRIPTION: Plastimix SFP
40 is a ready to use aqueous solution of complex compounds that
enhance the performance of plastic and hardened concrete.
Plastimix SFP 40 is
manufactured under rigid quality control measures to provide uniform,
reliable results. USES: Plastimix SFP
40 is recommended for mixes where reduced water content, improved
cement performance, uniform, normal set times and enhanced finishing
characteristics are desirable. ADVANTAGES: · Improves workability and finishability on all flatwork, slip formed and pre-cast surfaces · Improves pumpability of concrete · Provides normal-setting characteristics · Improves the quality of
concrete by decreasing water-cement ratio · Increases early and ultimate
compressive and flexural strength ·
Reduces cracking and shrinkage
DOSAGE
RATE: Plastimix
SFP 40 is recommended for use at a dosage rate of 2 to 5 fluid
ounces per 100 pounds (130 to 325 ml per 100 kg) of cement.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Conforms
to ASTM C 494 type A
AASHTO
M 194 Type A
CRD
C 87 Type A
TECHNICAL
NOTE: Plastimix
SFP 40 does not contain any purposely added calcium chloride or
other chloride based components. It
